Physical Education

Childhood to adolescence is the most important developmental stage in life. We believe that only through conducting comprehensive and systematic physical education training together with training in mental capacity, can we attain an optimal brain-body condition.

The 2 main characteristics of our physical education curriculum are:

* To provide students with ample opportunities for multidirectional full participation.

* To integrate student’s physical condition with sports events. Rules and strategies of games will be introduced to students. They can enjoy the pleasure in being an audience of matches, so as to build a healthy life circle and elevate their after-school life.

Pui Kiu College devotes a 12-year physical education programme to nurture a new generation of students. Students will be exposed to the most popular sports within the 12 years. Students’ sports sense and life experience will thus be enhanced. On one hand, students will be provided with opportunities to choose their own suitable life-long sport. On the other hand, we can also discover students with potentials and train them in becoming elite athletes.

It is anticipated that our students are equipped with good health and foster a positive attitude towards life. Thereby they can develop an active and healthy lifestyle to exert their influences over others.
